Feel at home wherever you are with a community by your side
You moved for a reason — work, love, safety, or a better future.
But no one told you it could feel this hard.
You handled all the paperwork, all the things you had to do to start your life abroad. And still it feels like something is missing.
You wake up, you go to work, you come back home and miss having other plans to go to.
You’ve tried meetups but are tired of the same surface-level chats.
And deep down, you wish you felt like you belonged, especially here, where you are now.
If this feels familiar, you’re not alone. Most of us have been there. And there is a way to feel at home wherever you are.
That’s what this coaching program:
To help you create a life you love – one that feels exciting, meaningful and truly yours.
You have plans that excite you for the weekend and that make you happy to be living where you are.
You start feeling more confident in your new home. You show up as yourself and spend time doing what you love without trying to just fit in.
You have a group of people to share your ups and downs with as you create the change you truly want in your life.
You have true support from people who get it and not just someone who says “Why don’t you try this?” or “If it is that hard, why don’t you go back to your home country?”
A few years ago, I worked with a client from Canada who had just moved to Germany.
She felt overwhelmed, stressed, lonely, and unsure how to find calm in her new life abroad.
She told me all she wanted was to stop letting the stress take over.
So, we started there – focusing on managing her stress.
Together, we talked about her days, what caused her stress and what helped her relax.
We explored how she wanted to feel: less overwhelmed, more peaceful, more like herself.
Slowly, she began finding balance.
But something shifted when she stopped beating herself up — and started asking, “What do I really need right now?”
She began to feel more at home with herself.
She embraced her full personality, not just the part she thought would fit in Germany. She found her voice and stopped shrinking herself.
Her relationships changed: she built friendships she truly loved, shared her needs, and cared for herself better.
That created a domino effect
Now, when she travels and comes back, she says she’s returning home — to people that she cares about and to a life she loves.
I’ve moved abroad twice on my own — first from Portugal to Scotland, and then from Scotland to Switzerland.
I thought moving to Geneva would be easier since I’d already lived abroad. I was so wrong.
Building a life I truly love here took time and felt like a rollercoaster.
Over time, I learned what it takes to feel at home abroad.
After studying coaching, behavior change, and hypnotherapy, I realized how valuable these tools are when applied to the expat life. I wish I had known these things when I first moved.
Living abroad can be so hard!
But when you have support and the know-how to build a life you love, things get easier. You are your biggest ally in this journey, and recognizing (to continue)
That’s why I created this coaching program.
To help you find your people, your confidence, and your joy — just like I did.
You don’t have to do this alone. I’m here, and so is a community that actually gets what it’s like to be on this path of living abroad.
A safe space to better connect with what you want from your life abroad, how you want to feel and how to make that happen.
Connect with a small group of expats who get what you’re going through.
Mix of trainings, group discussion and crowd-sourcing solutions.
Support between calls, from me and from your fellow expats.
To share wins, ask questions, or say ‘today was hard.
This isn’t just about “putting yourself out there.” It’s about support, mindset, and community — so you don’t burn out or feel like you’re doing it wrong.
Not at all. Many clients just want to feel more connected and calm — that’s where we begin.
This program is tailored to each member that comes in.
It is tailored to exactly what you need and it is meant to help you each step of the way.
Feeling at home can take time but with a community by your side plus 1:1 coaching, you will start feeling more confident to try new things and also more seen.
The 1:1 calls are there to help you with exactly what you need.
They are there to help you explore how you want to feel in your life abroad, to experiment in a way that feels right for you and to have your own space to share anything you need help with.
The group calls are there for you to have a community by your side, to have other expats in this journey to talk to and to feel heard.
This program is designed for people with busy lives.
With 1 hour of calls every 2 weeks, it makes sure you have the support you need and also the time you need to put everything in action in your own life.
It will be always on weekdays, the timezone is always Central European Time and the call hours range from 18h to 20h (6pm to 8pm).
I don’t think most of us know if we want to stay where we are now, forever!
We have moved at least once so who knows if we won’t move again right?
This program is also here to help you see if the country/city where you are is actually where you want to be and if it is not, to help you have clarity where you might want to move to if that is the case.
If you’ve made it this far, something in you knows , this isn’t how you want to keep feeling. Maybe you’re tired of doing everything alone.
Maybe you miss having people who really get you.
Maybe you’re just ready to feel more like yourself again.
You don’t have to keep pushing through on your own.
You don’t have to pretend everything’s fine when it’s not.
And you don’t have to keep waiting for it to finally feel like home.
This program is here to give you what most of us wish we had when we moved abroad: Real support. People who understand. And space to figure out what you actually need to feel good where you are.
You deserve a life that feels more connected, more fulfilling — and more you. And you don’t have to figure it out alone.
